RDM Software/Service License Management

I would to see the option to manage any software/services licenses in an IT environment, built into RDM.
My thought is that one should be able to create a license key entry, in the same
way you would create for example a password entry, so that you would have these
licenses safely stored and easily available when needed.
For example, lets say I buy Windows Server 2019 Standard or any type of
software or service that would require a valid license key, I would then like
to store that license key inside of RDM, so that I have it easy at hand when it
is needed.
Information to be stored would/could be:
Software/Service name
- License key
- Expiration date of license key (if any - optional) – However, if an expiration date is set, then an e-mail reminder needs to go out prior to expiration
- E-mail address of those (multiple) who are to receive that reminder
- A comment field, where one could specify who bought it/department etc.

According to the information I have gathered, you are already familiar with the "Software License" entry type, is that correct? If so, the only feature that would be missing to suit your needs is the possibility to receive an email when one of your licenses is about to expire? If that is also true, I could discuss it with our Engineering Department in order to see if that is something that could be added to this entry type.

Sorry to jump-in, but using Devolutions Server as your backend datasource will allow you to receive email notifications.
What type of datasource are you currently using within RDM?
