SSH connection to QNAP

Hello,

when I connect to my QNAP with Remote Deskotp Manager Free version 2020.2.19.0 with an SSH profile (SSH shell) I get the following error message:

An unexpected error has occurred. Error code: FAIL
(-1) Non specific error: this is generally the result of data corruption.

What can be the reason for this?

Hello Andreas,

the bad news is that this is a known issue in this version - the good one: in the next version this is fixed - as a workaround for now you can use a lower version (2020.2.18.0) Also you can use the portable mode until the new version is released.
