Suggestion for tabs in app after lost of connection (Internet/VPN)

So I may have 2-6 tabs with connections to various servers open while on VPN. Bam, I lose Internet/VPN disconnects and then I get 2-6 pop up messages saying it can't connect. No problem. But what is annoying is the tabs are all closed after I click okay. So I have to remember what tabs I had open. How about leave the tabs open, just on the dashboard view for that object and thus allow user to click the open session button? Images are numbered in order but don't appear to show on here in order.

1. Server connected, tab at top shows (1 VPN on server connection made tab open name deleted.png)
2. Internet/VPN is lost, app attempts to remake connection (2 Internet or vpn lost connection re-attempts started.png)
3. Popup message (3 Popup message.png)
4. Tab gone after clicking Ok on the popup message (4 tab gone.png) which is okay if you only had 1 tab opened, but if I had several I am out of luck.
