mikrotik winbox integration

Hi,

it would be amazing if you integrated the Mikrotik Winbox into the RDM!?

its possible to call there exe directly with a user/pass as well - https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Winbox

winbox.exe [<connect-to> [<login> [<password>]]]

it would allow management to be separate of devices

the is also an unofficial app for mac of winbox too with the same user/pass arguments - https://github.com/nrlquaker/winbox-mac

Hi,

This is already supported in RDM Windows. You just have to turn on the feature in Tools -> Add-On Manager.

As for RDM Mac, we have a ticket opened for this.

brilliant thanks wasn’t aware of the add-on modules

only a few issues, the embedded is horrible!

it pops up the full winbox window then after a few seconds it resizes and fits inside the RDM app

But also when you add the date to the dashboard header bit with the options, the screen gets resized and is totally unusable and falls like offscreen?

Hello,

Unfortunately it's very difficult to make external applications play nice when embedded in RDM. There isn't much we can do in this case, so I would recommend running the entry in external mode.
