The problem with the mouse in the Midnight Commander. SSH connection via Balabit server
User->Balabit->Server. The left and right mouse buttons do not work correctly in the midnight commander(GNU Midnight Commander 4.8.7). Transfers only a one click in the menu through the left mouse button (cannot click in menu list) and does not allow normal selection through the right mouse button. In the old version 13.6.7.0 there is no such problem, only in all up to the latest 2020.2.18.0

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
Could you please provide me screenshots of the configuration of your entry? I would like to see every tab which does not have their default values.
If you prefer, you can also open RDM and go under Help -> Submit a support ticket and I will provide you a link through this ticket to send us a recording of your configuration instead.
Best regards,
James Lafleur
Hi,
I have been able to reproduce the bug. It appears to be specific to midnight commander in CentoOS. I probably introduced this bug as I fixed another for tmux users... I will fix that as soon as possible but it will take a while as my backlog grew while I was on vacation.
For the selection, this is the new normal behaviour though. You can still make normal text selection using shift + drag. This change has been made to reproduce Putty's behaviour.
Regards,
Denis Vincent
Just a little clarification: the selection requires pressing the shift key only while in application like mc.
