is there a way to force a redraw (I use windows, rdp) ?

The reason is that sometimes some windows aren't drawn and when i reconnect they are then drawn. So if I could just force a refresh that would be more convenient than reconnecting.

Hello,

Not entirely sure what you mean by redraw, but you could try this display option :

This will do a quick reconnect (You won't have to completely close and re-open the session). Let me know if this is what you were looking for :)

nothing like a key to redraw or anything like that? or a key to do a smart reconnect?

my understanding from using before smart reconnect is that is just for adjusting resolution "smartly"

RDP doesn't have a "Force Refresh" option, you could try to change these option in the "Experience" tab of your RDP session in order to see if the issue persist :
