Custom Image List: Edit, delete, rearange, etc.

I will add this to our todo list. Just a quick question. Do you know if you would be able to use SVG instead of images? That's what we need now and you can add your svg in {RDM InstallationFolder\}Images\Svg

usually we use .png/.jpg.gif with transparent backgrounds. Quick'n'dirty. It just takes few minutes to add some new icons. No SVG.
The images should be stored centrally (in the sql-db), so all users will benefit from it, directly after pressing ctrl+F5.

We don't want to touch anything inside the filesystem, if possible. Instead, every data inside the sql-db is much appreciated.

We are finishing RDM 2021.1 and the beta should be out in few weeks. Unfortunately this is not included yet. I hope to add this for RDM 2021.2.

Old post, but still relevant - any timeline, when editing/deleting custom images will find it's way to a new relase?
Or did I miss the possibility and it works right now?

any news on this? It seems, not a lot of people are using custom images - maybe many think it is a gimmick.
But, I think it is very usefrul, as we see. custom icons do help to identify visually objects faster than reading text.

I am also interested in better image management for the connections. I know a few other users at my company who also heavily use custom images. Storing in database is nice but I use local and just pulling in a file directory would be GREAT. Looking forward to see this in version 2023.1.
