Hi,
We are using RDM with intelligent cache mode.
Now if I change the description of an entry and then afterwards my colleague changes the description of the same entry without refresh first, my modification is lost.
Is it possible to configure RDM to refresh that entry just before you want to edit it?
Kind regards,
Hans Mannaerts
File > Options > Advanced > Check "Force refresh before edit entry"

Thanks for your quick response.
That is great, can we push this setting from the DPS to all the clients? Or do you have an Windows Group Policy ADMX file for this?
Kind regards,
Hans Mannaerts
I will add a GPO for that but for now you would need to use the Customer Installer service or do it manually/script.

The GPO has been added and will be available in the next release of RDM.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager] "ForceRefreshBeforeEditEntry"=dword:00000001

A new version (v2020.2.16.0) has been release that contains the GPO check.

Thank you very much.
I also wanted to know if there is an option to allow offline access only when bitlocker is enabled?
I'm aware of the option to protect offline data with EFS but we prefer Bitlocker as encryption solution.
Kind regards,
Hans Mannaerts
Hans,
Currently no, there is no Bitlocker option available.
