Web login don't offer save password option

avatar

Hi,

from time to time, I've problem with web login tool for chrome.
When I fill my username/password at some website DWL don't detect login button when I pushed it, and don't offer save password option.
When I try manually add username/password it's save at RDM, but still can't use it at website.

RDM and DWL is at newest version.

Hi,

We will investigate for the login not detected. Do you have a list of websites you could share with us?

For the second filling issue, for some websites, the auto fill function does not work out of the box.
It requires some steps in order to properly send the username and password.
The method to make it work is explained there:
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_webauthentication.html#method-2

For exemple with your website,
You need to edit the session related to this URL, Click on "More Settings" in the Edit Window and add "cardNumber" in the textfield next to the Username label and "password" next to the Password label.

Hi,

not I don't have list.. I didn't collect it.. it's happen from time to time and it's not so much annoying, but this time I open new post, so maybe you can resolve all issue at once ;)
I can give one more url.. http://b2b.epasystemy.pl/login - every time when I need log in, I need to open roboform and use it at this website.
It will be nice to have possibility add one more field when I make it manually.

Hi,

For websites with 3 fields, you can use the domain as the third if you can
For exemple with http://b2b.epasystemy.pl/login the HTML elements would be:
Username: userName-field
Domain: customerName-field
Password: password-field

The possibility to add one more field when making manually via DWL when connected to RDM is already the TODO and will work the Custom Controls that you can find the Web Advanced Settings when clicking on More Settings.
