Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

Unless I am mistaken, the application will always need to focus in order for you to see the cursor on the remote desktop area.
Since RDM is the same ActiveX used by Microsoft to launch RDP connection in embedded mode, would it be possible for you to install RDC Manager and see if you experience the same behavior with it?

To do so, please download and install RDC Manager using the following MSI file:
rdcman.msi

hello, maybe when i have some time later

are you saying it is not normal for the cursor to disappear (some but not all of the time, but when it does happen it is most of the time) when the mouse is moved over the remote desktop area ?

how can I disable the click to expand the ribbon when you click the top bar? I need to click somewhere safe to get the cursor visible again so I'm clicking the bar and sometimes i click the top part and it expands the ribbon and then i need to click the autohide button to set it to autohide.I get worried that if i leave the ribbon visible too long it will resize the desktop and that means move my windows around so i'd need to rearrange them again every time. So if I can just disable this behaviour that expands the ribbon that would be great.

Hello,
I'm not sure I understand your configuration. Could you post a print screen? Usually I just click on the title bar to focus the application.
