NCP Secure Entry Client - Certificate PIN required

NCP Secure Entry Client - Certificate PIN required

avatar

Hi,

I have a problem to automate the login for one of our VPN connections, because it requires a PIN at each connection (user certificate pin). I don't see a way to put the PIN in the NCP configuration, in RDM.

Is there a workaround or did I miss something in the configuration?

Thanks and regards,

Andreas

Hello,

Indeed, this entry type doesn't contain a field to send the PIN. What is the user certificate PIN? Is it like 6 numbers that needs to be entered?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the quick reply!

It is more like a passphrase (https://www.ncp-e.com/fileadmin/pdf/service_support/NCP_QCG_Entry_Client_v3.pdf in 2.6 they also refer to it as a passphrase). In our case it also is a passphrase with more than 6 alphanumeric characters.

Thanks and regards,

Andreas

Hello,

Our integration is based on a command line provided by NCP. If there command line doesn't support it, it would not be possible for us to integrate it.
However, maybe you can send the passphrase using a macro. No sure if it would be prior the connection or after the connection.
