Under file\administration all of the options are greyed out. If it helps: I'm using a trial version of 5.6.3.0. I have set an application password.
What can I do to have it allow me to enter and save credentials that I can use for multiple connections?
Thanks,
Bill
Hi,
The File Administration is only available with SQL Server. You can save your credential in each session. There is no shared credential for now. You can also use the Batch Edit to set the same credentials to mulitple sessions.
I hope this help.

Thanks, David. Yeah..at least it saves me looking for it :)
So is there any way with any of the other database methods (S3, XML file, etc) to do saved credentials...or do I need to have a SQL server for that? I DO have a SQL server int he office I could use for this..bgut I'm concerned if I'm on my laptop away from the SQL server if I could still get to the machines I want to get to.
Appreciate any guidance,
Bill
Hi Bill,
The File Administratio is only in SQL Server, but it's only to manage users in RDM, not credentials. You can save in each session your credentials and it's not database dependent. Take at the remote desktop session, there is a textbox with a label "Store password in the database". Also, if you use SQL Server and you have the Enterprise edtion, you can use the offline mode. You won't be able to edit the session but you will have an offline copy of the database.
