Terminal changes behavior after reconnecting SSH sessions where tabs are still present

If I have an open session in a tab, and the server drops me for being idle, og me losing network/vpn. Rightclicking and choosing 'reconnect' establishes the session. However - the terminal output is fine, but input is entirely different.

No blinking cursor, or working arrow-keys. Closing the tab, and double-clicking the session - all good.
