Passwordstate dus not support 2FA Authenticator.docx
Hello,
I will check with the engineering department :)
Best Regards,
Etienne Lord
Hello,
After looking into it, I can confirm that the 2FA is not supported with PasswordState within Remote Desktop Manager.
Best Regards,
Etienne Lord
Hi Etienne,
Thanks for your replay and is it possible to realise the 2FA for Passwordstate because
out company making use of this application for all our client credentials to
login to the servers. We had to activate 2FA because of a ISO certificate (audit)
for security we had to have.
2FA is becoming a standard and Microsoft is also activating this for office 365
and so are our customer to. We really need this to make user of the autologin
via RDM.
Greetings Michael.
Hello,
We will add this to our todo list.

David Hervieux
Hi Etienne & David,
Thanks for adding it to your TODO list and how long (Planning) is it going to be before we will be able to make
use of this option (2FA for Passwordstate) in RDM. Because at the moment we are not able
to automatically connect to password stare via RDM and it is costing u a lot of
time to establish a connection to all of out customers servers.

Hello,
I can't give a timeframe. You have to understand that Passwordstate is a third party and we have to verify if it's possible to do the integration with the 2FA. We will get in touch with them if something is missing. We understand that 2FA is important and this is why it's supported in all our products directly. It just not that easy when it's a third party. We added the 2FA support recently for PassPortal and I'm sure that Passwordstate could be the next one. We have a good relationship with ClickStudio.

Easy Systems.
Hello,
We investigated and it isn't currently possible to support 2FA with the Passwordstate API.
I have contacted their team to see if it could be added. I'll let you know once I have more information.

Hello Michael,
We got a reply from ClickStudios. Since they now receive frequent feature requests, they would like you to post on their forums so they can evaluate the request to support 2FA in the RemoteDesktopManager API. You can find their community forums here: https://www.clickstudios.com.au/community/
If more clients chime in, they will most likely prioritize this request.

Hubert Mireault
