RDM from another Location via main Office

RDM from another Location via main Office

avatar

I would like to install RDM on a machine in a Remote office, so it runs locally. But it should open all connections via our main office, as all VPN tunnels are connected there and I don't want to create 100 Static Routes to route everything from the other location there.

So is there a way to install RDM locally, but use all the connections from the installation in the main office? Like the Jump Host, but not only for several connection, but for all of them?

(I don't want to use RDP to my machine in the office, as I need this RDP connection for other programs, and want to have RDM open all the time on a different sceen locally)

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

The problem here is that you would need access to these machines from another location. You would need to authenticate at the office and then, start your sessions, but since you don't want to RDP your office computer, it's a little bit more tricky.

The thing that I see for now, since you wanted to have RDM installed locally, it's to configure it like it's configured at the office. This means installing the VPN tunnels in this computer to start your sessions from there.
