When I click on a folder where I have added some documentation, there is a (1) on the Documentation tab. What is that and how can I clear it?
I have tried looking in help.remotedesktop.com but haven't found it.
Hello,
This number shows how many Documentation Pages the entry has, I do not believe it can be removed but I will have a look.

Thanks for the reply. The number just seems (to me) so out of place. It screams to me that I have a notification and I need to do something, not that there are pages in the documentation.
For me it would be better (but not ideal) if the number was part of the text in the tab: "Documentation (1)". My best wish is for it just not to be there. Maybe grayed out (but still clickable) if no documentation is there and normal looking if any documentation. I'm not sure I know what I can use the number for other than giving me information that there is something.
Hello,
I will check with the engineering department, will keep you updated.

Hello,
The goal of adding this 'badge' is indeed to give information on if there is documentation or not.
We'll add an option to disable these badges. I hope this will improve your experience.
This is planned for the first release of RDM 2020.2.

Hubert Mireault

Wow - thank you for the quick response to my annoyance.
Thank you, both of you.
No problem! And just to let you know, the option will be located in File > Options > User Interface > Dashboard, as "disable count badges".
