I would like the ability to pin/un-pin/rearrange the entries here. It would be nice to pin custom scripts, certain mgmt tools to this area.

Hello,

It's not possible to pin icons in that specific area, however, if you create Macro/Script/Tool session(s), like Template session, these will be available via the Macros/Scripts/Tools when you will select your RDP sessions as example
