RDM Enterprise Freezing - since 2020-1.10.0 (and continuing with 2020.1.13.0)

Morning.

I upgraded RDM to 2020.1.10.0 over the weekend, but didn't start using it until yesterday. I had a few instances where the application would freeze. I did upgrade to 2020.1.13.0 last night, however, this morning I had another freeze.

Now...the freeze is odd. The RDM interface is frozen, but whichever tab was active still works. If it was an RDP session, then I can still navigate Windows. If the tab is a website, it continues to be responsive. However, if attempt to switch to another tab, click on the menu, or any other UI element, nothing happens. I can minimize RDM, but will not maximize.

Event viewer is recording this when I'm forced to terminate the application in Task Manager (largely stating the obvious)

The program RemoteDesktopManager64.exe version 2020.1.13.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

This error message correlates to watching the application in Task Manager flipping to "Not responding" every few seconds.

I enabled Debug in RDM, but nothing has been recorded.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

Could you from a previous version of RDM (which can be download here https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/previousversions ) and install as portable (https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/installation_portableusb.html)

Edit the data source configuration and look if Ping Online method or Auto refresh are enable. If so please disable them.

is there any progress with this ? I have version 2021.1.27.0 and I have the same behavior. App freezes except for the session that is open

Please upgrade to the latest version, or at least the latest v2021.1 release available here:
