Hi Devolutions Team!
I wish there was a feature to grant temporary "Password View" access to credential entries in RDM.
For example: A co-worker might be allowed to "use" credential entries, but can’t view them. Sometimes they have to enter credentials inside an established RDP session, but don’t have access to view the corresponding password entry. They would like to "request view access" to this entry, privileged RDM users/admins would receive a notification of some form, to be able to grant it for like 30 minutes, and the co-worker can continue his work.
Greetings

Hello,
I would like to vote for this feature, it would be handy for us as well, exactly for described scenario. It could use same mechanism for checkout as Privileged Accounts.

VERSION 2020.2.12.0 (June 9th 2020) - Added support for time-based access per user
Is this the feature I've been asking for, and if yes, where is the documentation how to use it?

Hello Marco,
I just had a talk with our Engineering Department on that matter and they confirmed that this is not the feature you were waiting for.
This feature allows you to manage the time your user can access the database.
The feature you are looking for is tied to the ticket, RDMW-5582. We will inform you once we have an update on that matter.
Best regards,
James Lafleur
On the Release Notes i found "Added support for temporary access requests"
Is this the feature Marco has been asking for, and if yes, where is the documentation how to use it?
Hello Felix,
Thank you for reaching us on that matter!
While there is currently no documentation on that matter, this feature can be found in the properties of your entry, under Security Settings -> Temporary Access:
