OpenVPN automatic authentication

Hi, I am currently using RDM Free with 600+ entries.
We make massive use of OpenVPN add-on with automatic authentication feature enabled but most of the time as soon as the username/password screen pops up, the username is either entered partially or completely blank. It looks like the software is typing the password too soon.
No way to delay the automatic credentials typing?
This is frustrating...such a great software with this flaw on a widespread add-on.
