I recently started playing around with the VMware synchronizer. Up until then we managed all of our Sessions manually. But now we encounter a project where we deal with dynamically created and deleted Windows VMs (Citrix Machine Creation Services) which change rapidly. So I thought about spawning these in a special VMware vCenter folder, which I then sync to RDM for instant RDM RDP session access.
It would be nice to add this vCenter folder filter to the VMware synchronizer.
Thanks for reading my suggestion.

Hi,
In the currently released version of RDM, you can now "Filter by group" the connections of your VMWare synchronizer. (Properties -> General -> Settings tab)
Regards,
Thanks for adding this feature, but I'm unable to use or understand it.
Are there any update docs available that I can consult, before I bother he support with my questions?

Hello,
I believe you need to enter the group path in the 'filter by group' box, and it will only import computers belonging to that group and its subgroups.

Hi,
this doesn't work for me. I tried already the "Name" of VM Folder and also the ID and Uid. But no one of the ~20 vm's would be find. I cannot find any debug log option for this.
Im running on the 2022.1.13.0 RDM and 2022.1 DPS
