use of opened sessions tab and right-click choice

I have upgraded to the 5.6 version, but have noticed this on the older version also.
when i have a Cisco VPN session opened thru RDM, it does not show up in the opened sessions tab.
the RDP sessions do show up the in the opened Sessions tab.

when you have the RDM minimized to the taskbar and right-click on the open session why do you not get a Close choice. It just switches to the open window. When you have a VPN session open, the only way to close it is to restore the main window and then right-click on the open session and choose Close Session. This seems to be a little awkward, related to how the rest of the program works in opening and closing sessions.
