how to link credentials to a credential repository from another vault?

Happy New Year to all of you...
I am working on moving from a single vault organization to a multi-vault organization.
I am using secret server as my credential repository.
All my connections were pointing to the cred. repo. in the original vault.
Now as soon as I move a connection to another vault I have the following message: "unable to find the credentials, this setting will be lost" when looking at the properties.
I understand as the reference to the original cred. repo. is not in the same vault, RDM cannot find it.
How to change this?
N.B. : I would like to avoid having to create a new instance of the cred. repo. in each vault...

Hello,
You are right, it's not possible for RDM to fetch the credential across the vaults.
The Secret Server entry would need to be present under each vault. Then, you can use the Batch Edit feature to update your session and make them use the proper credential.

Even if I replicate the secret server entry in each vault it will not prevent from relinking 1 by 1 each connect to corresponding secret as the ID of the cred. repo. in the vault has changed.
I will migrate about 4000+ connections and 500+ have dedicated credentials.
Is it something which is planned to be added in the product?
Should I submit a feature request?

Hello,
This is something that we might be technically be able to do but only for Devolutions Password Server (RDM will call the server which have all the vault loaded). Do you use it?

We are not using it.
I tested it several months ago to test the recording session capabilities for one of our customer.
I had the support from Mark Beausejour.
I need to check what would be the cost for us to implement DPS.

Hello,
With a Password Server in your environment, it's possible to create, in RDM, a Password Server credential entry.
In this entry, it's possible to specify the vault.
