Unable to import connections.db after re-installation

Unable to import connections.db after re-installation

avatar

Hi,

I've recently changed laptop and had to re-install RDM free.
I've got a cloud account and have logged in.
I used to be able to select DB option and point it to the connections.db which sits within my dropbox.
However, this selection doesn't seems to be available.
so I selected dropbox and validated against it.
it then updated connections.xml file within my dropbox (according to date modified in dropbox)

I cannot see any of my connections within the xml file and I presume because all connections that I had configured sits within the db file.
how can I convert or import this into my new RDM installation?
hope I'm making sense. Cheers

Hello,

If you still got access to your old computer, simply go in %localappdata%\Devolutions and copy the entire RemoteDesktopManager on your new computer.
This should bring back you entire configuration + local database if you we're using a local one.

Best regards,
