Hi,
I have updated my client from an old version to the current Enterprise Version 2019.2.22.0 64 Bit.
Now the VMWare Dashboard does not work anymore. The following error occurs:
I have already checked in Options -> Security -> Ignore application certificate errors, without success.
I have also added the entry again, without success.
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks
Hello,
The method for communicating with the Dashboard has changed.
Have you tried changing the console connection mode in the General section (TryVMWare VMRC 8.0 or VMWare Player)?
Thanks for letting us know.
Best regards,

Hi,
I have tried all 3 options, unfortunately all 3 have the same error.

Hello,
I must ask, does this work outside RDM?
Also, if we could define if this come from a breaking change on our part, could you try installing an earlier version ?
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/previousversions
I Suggest you install using the portable setup as described here : https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/installation_portableusb.htm (try not to connect to your existing data source for compatibility purposes, a temporary local data source with the test entry would be ideal)
Thanks for your cooperation.
Best regards,

Hi,
i worked through this article:
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/index.html?session_vmwareconsole.htm
And i can open a connection to my server via cli and execute the command with an answer of all my machines.
I tried to get more Information via Log Files, but if i turn up the log level via Options -> Advanced, i cannot see anymore message via Help -> Application Logs. Is there a way to see why the connection fails, any Log files?
If i have time i will install an older version and try with it.
Thanks
David
