RDP Password not being filled in (macOS)

Disabled

Credentials are stored for the connection.
When I open a connection, I first see a prompt to accept an unverifiable certificate (this is normal)

I press continue.

If I pressed continue quick enough, a login dialog will pop up, and the password is filled in.
I click login.

I get the certificate prompt again.

I click continue.

I get prompted for login again, and password is not filled in.

Hello,

What version of RDM Mac are you running?

Are you launching your RDP in embedded or external mode?

Is it possible to send us a small video of the behavior?

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

RCM Version: 2019.2.2.0
That was open session / open external.

Open internal, I get certificate prompt, then it errors with ERRCONNECT_SECURITY_NEGO_LOGON_FAILURE

I have Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.3.2 installed.

Am running macOS Mojave 10.14.5

Password has been verified as correct, plus this happens on all connections.

Hi adf,

Looking at your video, we can see that the message in the last prompt of your authentication attempt is: "The user account did not work", which would lead me to believe that you credentials are incorrect or that the server refuses the connection from this user.

If you configure your session directly in the Microsoft Remote Desktop application, can you connect to your session properly with the same credentials?

Best regards,

Your are right!

Two servers with very similar names, same account on each, and I was using the password for the wrong server!

User Error.

Apologies and Thank you.
