Macros/Scripts/Tools: Set default user
Hi all,
we're currently evaluating the use of RDM. One of the tools we want to use is the "Macros/Script/Tools" Ribbon. I added you a screenshot of the ribbon I mean.
How can we set the user that is performing this script? Currently it's using the session credentials, which do not have any rights on the servers.

Hello Alexander,
You can change the user that is performing the script under the "Properties" of the entry and going under "Management Tools" from there the "Credentials" box should be what you're looking for, simply select the type you wish to use.

Hi Samuel,
thank you for the quick reply! I'm missing the "private Vault" setting here, though. We agreed in our Team that we store our ADM Passwords within our own private vaults and all name them identical (e.g. everyone has an entry like "EXTRANET ADM" and so on).
Is there a way to use an entry from this list? also, what does "Use default credentials" mean and is there a way to manipulate these "default" credentials globally?

in your case the following configuration should fulfill your request:
At the end the session will use the Private vault credentials to connect and for the Management tools section as well.
