Templates Not Appearing in Dialog for Host Entry

avatar

Version 2019.2.13.0

I'm trying to figure out how to combine various session entries into a single entry to declutter my navigation tree view. I've created various templates using File -> Templates -> Templates for RDP and such. However, when I create a host entry, and then click the "Advanced" tab on the "General" view, then click the "Select Templates" button, the list is always empty; there are no templates to choose from.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Kevan

Hello,

Thank you for your quick reply! I have been able to reproduce this issue and a ticket has been assigned to our engineering department on that matter.
I will inform you once I will have an update on that topic.

For further reference, the ticket number is RDMW-3923

Hello,

Our engineering department have implemented a few fixes in the latest version of RDM and it seems to have fixed this.

Would it be possible for you to try this version of RDM and see if this issue still occurs?

I would recommend trying it as a portable version in order to keep your current configuration untouched.
To do so, you will need to download the .zip file below, extract it's content in a newly created folder, enter your current serial and run the executable: https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin

That's the enterprise edition. I'm using the free edition.

Hello,

In that case, indeed, RDM Free 2019.2.21.0 does not contain the enhancement. You would need to wait the next release of RDM Free. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you any timeline for it's release for the moment.

Best regards,
