Hello again.
It is my responsibility to maintain the VMWare infrastructure.
I need to be able to administer ESXi hosts over the web interface.
I have created two different records in RDM. "Website" and "Web Browser (http / https)".
Both are set to use "Internet Explorer".
Both the name and password are transferred to the browser.
And he does nothing more.
The login button is inactive.
If I write my name and password myself, everything works.
Some solution.

Hello,

sorry I've forgot to ask but I guess the display mode is set to embedded?

If yes, could yo try to set the browser to Google Chrome on your Web Browser (http / https) session and see if this work?

Thanks

Whatever settings I make on the RDM. Embedded or external does not work with Internet Explorer.
Googgle Chrome with embedded settings works.
But the company policy is to work with Internet Explorer.

Hello Simeon,

When using IE, you mentioned that the button is inactive. If you uncheck Auto submit with Chrome is it the same behavior or the submit button is active?

Another test you can do, with IE with an auto-fill username/password. When starting the web page, then waiting for creds to be a fill-in. Try to add a letter at the username and to the password. Does the submit button is now active?

Hello again.
With Google Chrome, everything works properly in embedded or undocked mode. I do not have Google Chrome installed on my computer.
I found that when you add and remove a letter in the username field, the button becomes active.
You press it and the site reports a wrong password.
Add and remove a letter in the password field, hit the button and log in to ESXi.
It seems to me something is wrong.
It's the same with your Password Server. With IE in embedded mode. Fill in the fields with your username and password and then reported it wrong name or password.

Hello Simeon,

I opened a ticket with the engineering department. As you discover the issue is the way the username and password are typed.
