Connect connect embedded via RDP over SSL

Connect connect embedded via RDP over SSL

avatar

We have a few servers where we have enabled SSL as the encryption method. While I can connect with no issue using the normal RDP client or opening an external session from Remote Desktop Manager, it will not allow me to open the session embedded. I receive the error message: "The remote computer requires that authentication be enabled to connect. Remote computer: computer.domain.com The connection cannot proceed because authentication is not enabled." All of the required certificates are in places and as stated above, this works with an external session. Any ideas why it does not work embedded? Thank you.

Hi,
Can you send me (support@devolutions.net) an export to rdp? You can edit the file and remove your server name. Don't worry the password is not stored in.

Maybe a settings is missing in embedded mode.

Thank you

I am having the same problem. All of my servers require SSL and the open>embedded/tabbed option will not work. Thanks!

Combining threads. I did not know about this one before posting my other thread. Sorry.
