I would like for a Before|After [Dis]Connect task to execute to completion before opening the session.

This is available for Command Line and Script, but not the PowerShell or Macro/Script/Tools. I would like this to be available for those as well.

I know this is on the todo, but I would just like to second this request.

Thanks.

Hi,

That feature would also help us a lot.

Hello,

We just added the option to wait for exit for PowerShell and certain Macro/Script/Tools sessions. This will be available in version 2019.2.20.

Please tell us if there are more session types where you'd like this to be implemented and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks, that is great to hear.

Finally got the update, installed 2019.2.21.0 yesterday, and the wait for exit check box is there. I am using Macro/Script/Tool on before connect with wait for exit checked, but the macro and the session start at the same time. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hello,

Can you tell me which macro/script/tool type you are using exactly ?

Jonathan,

I'm using command. I've attached screenshots of my settings, hope they help.

Hello,

I was able to reproduce your issue and will try to resolve it as soon as possible.

For now, if that is an option for you, a workaround would be to uncheck the options "No exit" and "Open embedded/tabbed".

I have done as you suggested and changed the script to handle the delay required for the changes to get applied. Thanks for your help Jonathan.
