Simple one, the $PASSWORD$ won't auto-populate when using the custom cmd line option (trying to open SQL Profiler). See attached images for a snapshot of the entries properties window as well as the cmd line path/args for in task manager after it opens the program. Am I doing anything wrong?

Hello,
To allow password to be used with the $PASSWORD$ variable, the option Allow password in variable option in the Advanced tab of the credential entry must be enabled.

Hi Erica,
Thank you for the suggestion. At first it didn't work, but then I came across this post which indicates I need to do this for the connection that is actually using the credential. This didn't work either, however once I enabled both, it did, so this'll work for me!
Thanks!
HB
Quick note: the "Allow password in variable" check box on the cmd line entry is actually in the "Security Settings" tab, where as the credential entry is in the "Advanced" tab as Erica pointed out. Security settings makes more sense, but confusing to have it under different areas for different entry types.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment about having that option in the same tab for all entry types. We will look into this for sure.
Best regards,
