Can't get in to RDM by cancelling Google Authenticator prompt on startup
Two data sources defined. One with Google Authenticator protection, possibly made as default data source (or just last one used?).
RDM started. Prompts for authentication code to access first data source. Can't supply code at present for "reasons", but don't care as want to use second data source.
Cancelling off dialog closes RDM - rather than giving me any way to switch to second source.
Can select data source via system tray icon and so can connect to resources from that second data source, but can't get in to RDM proper that way. Close down RDM and same behaviour - prompts for Google authentication code on next startup.
Basically, there appears to be no way to switch to the second data source on startup and get in to RDM and - for instance - remove that first data source.
Command-line option to select data source on startup would appear to be no use since can't get in to RDM to establish GUID for second source.
Am I missing something or is this going to need a re-install?
Hello,
No re-install, if push comes to shove, you simply empty the EncryptedDataSources section of your configuration file and simply re-register them again.
The are some settings that we can attempt to reset, but we would attempt that only as a last resort option, just contact us at ticket@devolutions.net if you cannot recreate you data sources.
Best regards,
Maurice
Lovely, that worked fine - I can recreate/setup the data sources without hassle.
Would suggest it's a bug though!
Thanks for the very quick response.
