in the Keepass application folder.

The default path for the Installer version is C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe 2\ (for V2)

I am using portable RDM and KeePass version. Using custom path c:\tools\

then you must choose the KeePass application folder in C:\tools\...

Further you have to set the Installation path for KeePass to the same folder
