Hello,
I understand there's an option to use Restricted Admin Mode on a RDP session. However, beginning in Windows 10 1607 / Server 2016, there's a new option to use Remote Credential Guard. Can this option also be added to Remote Desktop Connect Manager?

Hello,
I have moved your topic into the Feature Request section.
On a side note, if you launch your session in external mode, is it working?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Whether I open with external or embedded, it still does not work. If I run mstsc.exe /remoteGuard, then it runs RDP with credential guard enabled. Currently, I don't see an option to pass the /remoteGuard switch for an RDP session.
Hello,
I think we could add the setting in external mode. I'm not sure how easy it would be to add it in embedded mode.

Hello,
We added the Remote Credential Guard option in external mode only. For now, it is impossible to add this option in embedded mode.
We will stay on the lookout for a way to support this in embedded mode.
All changes will be effective in the next update (2019.1.40.0)

Great! Thanks for the update!
Hey all!
I found this post from 2 years back, and wanted to see if there were any updates
I tried enabling remote cred guard on one of my Win 2019 lab servers today, and going through the steps to connect via RDM. I find the use of the "external" window is not a great user experience. Is having to use the "external" option a limitation from Microsoft? If not, any plans to make it embedded?
Hello,
Your timing is excellent. We just been able to add it in embedded mode. We have a blog about this:

Great ! Thank you for your reply, I updated RDM to the latest version, and am good to go!
