RDM Account Login screen keeps popping up during the day

Dear support,

We use the RDM enterprise with an online database and since we updated to version 2019.1.35.0 all user experience the following issue; multiple times a day the Account Login screen appears and you need to re enter your credentials to continue working with the software.
Before the update we could work on the login credentials until we closed the program.

Please some advise what to do about this annoying popup.

This issue has already been reported to our engineering department and the ticket RDMW-3093 has been opened.

Have you updated to RDM 2019.1.41? We have made a lot of fixes related this type of error.

That said, if you are using a Devolutions Online Database, In the data source configuration have you the option Prompt for credentials check?

If so, could you uncheck it for a test?

Could you try to uncheck "prompt for credentials" on the datasource and verify if the pop up keep comming back?

We think it might be related to this option.

Hi support,

Please reopen this incident as it solves the pop up window, but if we restart the RDM client we do not have to login anymore (ever). It is always logged in and if you ask me, that is pretty insecure :).

Indeed this was a workaround. We have continued our investigation and found the problem. This will be in RDM 2019.2 and the beta will be out soon.

Some enhancements have been made regarding this in our latest Beta release, which is RDM 2019.2.6.0. Could you give it a try?

This update does solve the popups during the day, but still the session is timing out multiple times a day. If you are inactive for a few hours, you can browse the client, but when copying or viewing properties of a record the client will give a pop up again. Please make an option to set the inactivity time to for example 8 hours or self proficient.

This way the user can set their own time out, or manager of the program.

For now, still not solved.
