Hi,
We are working on upgrading to RDM 2019.1.25.0.
On our jump hosts we've set up a centralized folder for add-ons on a shared network folder.
However in RDM 2019.1.25.0 the way add-ons work changed.
After some testing I found out add-ons are not saved as .dll's anymore.
Because of that, our solution for a centralized add-on folder doesn't work anymore.
Is there an other way for a centralized add-on location?
Hello,
Add-ons are now included in the software direction, we reduce the installation steps and improve the stability of them. However, add-ons are in the application itself.
Is there any specific task that you are trying to perform with the add-ons?
Best regards,

Hi David,
The reason we used this method is because we have 16 VM running as jump hosts.
When there's an update for an add-on, we can update it in the shared folder so every machine has the newest add-ons.
Is there a way to achieve the same effect?
Hello,
With our new integration of add-ons and for information as described in our blog https://blog.devolutions.net/2019/06/improved-feature-rdm-add-on-manager as soon as you update RDM add-ons are now updated.
So the update process is reduced. If you do not update Jump Host VM automatically, we can help you. As an example, our RDM product is available with Chocolatey, simple choco install RDM (details at https://chocolatey.org/packages/rdm) will update the latest version of RDM.
You can also use SCCM or any RMM product. If needed we can provide you Powershell script that Download RDM and installs it automatically. You just need the software to start it when you want.
