Hello,
I am working at a small IT Service Company (30 ppl), we are evaluating RDPM and considering to purchase the enterprise edition.
I am not sure about the licensing model.
If we purchase a 10 User license, does this refer to the number of concurrent connections to the sql db, or does it mean I can create 10 db users.
At the moment we are using the enterprise trial version, i created one user in the database through rdpm called "support" and all support employees use this account to connect to the db.
Thx four your help
Hi,
The license are per user and not per concurrent connections. There is no direct validation with the users in SQL Server and the user using RDM. One user can use Access and all the other can use SQL Server for example. If you are more than 10 users, you can check for the site license, it's not that much expensive and there no user limit.
You also have included in the price, free upgrade for one year.
Let me know if I can do something else for you.

Thx for the info.
I will suggest a site license to my boss.
We (support department) have been testing RDPM enterprise for 10 days now and we love it. I used the private version before and it was great, but being able to share the sessions with the whole department has definatly improved our productivity and response times.
It would be very nice if it were possible to place sonicwall *.rcf files directly in RDPM, but i will post this request in a new topic.
thx again for your support and this fine piece of software
