Hi,
when ssh recording session will be available?
Regards
Hello,
SSH session recording is currently available in RDM 2019.1.25.0. The .trp file generated can be read back by going in Tools > More Tools and selecting the Playback (TRP) tool.

Hi,
I've not see the options because we are using putty and I think SSH recording session is only available with SSH shell right?
Also is the trp can be read by a user who I've not RDM? like a vlc player?
I do some quick test, I got error reading trp file when the file is in a DFS share. I've full access to this DFS share.
see error
to read file I need to copy files in my local drive then read it.

Yes, SSH session recording is only available with the native SSH Shell entry.
At the moment it isn't possible to read the TRP file with a video program. The reason for that is that we don't take a video of the terminal, we actually record the terminal input/output. This allows the person watching to interact with the playback, for example by pausing to copy lines.
For the fileshare issue, we will take a look, thank you for reporting this.

Hi,
good, We'll look to convert putty session to SSH shell.

Hello,
We've made some internal changes that will be available in RDM 2019.1.28.0.
1. We've fixed a few things so that the playback works better with fileshares.
2. Errors should be more comprehensive when they occur
3. There is added debugging logs if you go in File > Options > Types > Terminal. You can set the log path there, and when using the player, the log file will be created.
Let us know if this helps once the new version is out.
