Cannot see connection tree in Navigation window using Devolutions Online Drive. Big red X.

Updated to newest version of RDM a few days ago. After starting up RDM and logging into my Devolutions Online Drive, I can not see the tree of connections in the left hand Navigation window, instead I see a big red X. It looks like the scroll bar is working as if there are listings there, but they are not being shown. I can see recently opened connections, but "view entries from your current data source" has a the big red X. Can someone please assist?

Hi,

close your RDM, go to %localappdata%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager and delete/rename RemoteDesktopManagerLayout.lyt

start RDM again

Thank you. That did the trick. But why does this seem to be an issue, especially after updates?

i have the same red X when the "credential list" dialog box is displayed. deleting the .lyt files did not fix this one. A different file perhaps?

Could you try the steps below:









This will create you a completely new configuration folder. Hope that the red x will have disappear.

This worked, however i assume that i would lose any favorites or customizations i had by doing this? Seems a bit too drastic.
