Possible to push out new serial to clients?
Hi, We just renewed our license for RDM and I was wondering if there was a way to push out the new serial number to those who have RDM installed. We do use Quest's KACE application and that was set up to initially allow IT users to install RDM on their workstations and that has the key embedded. Is there an API or some sort of functionality to script/deploy the serial to all users who have this installed?

If you are using an Advanced Datasource, you can go in Administration -> Data Source Settings -> Serial Number.
By setting your serial key there, anyone who is connected to the datasource will automatically have the key.

Thanks. Is this Advanced Datasource a repository of all remote connections? If so, we wouldn't want that as not everyone would have access to every remote connection.
If there is no other option, I'm assuming we'd have to just email the key out or create a new installer package and have users run that for the next update.

Datasource are the database that users are connect to in order to see the shared connections, most common one would be SQL, if you would like, you can go in File -> My Datasource information and send in the report to support, we will be able to tell you if the option that I mentioned is possible for you!

I can see this option on a SQL Data source but not on Microsoft SQL Azure data source.
Is this a bug or is it in a different place?
