Hi Community
I am a totally newbie. I have installed the Remote Desktop (Free) at home. In the firm I work, I cannot install the Software. Therefore I need to have a direct way over the Browser. Is the Data Source Online Drive the right Thing? And do you have some tipps for installing?
Thanks for your help and enjoy your day
Marc
Hello,
Online Drive is indeed a cloud data source. This means that you can access your data via the internet. However, you would need RDM installed on your computer to get access to your data.
What type of sessions are you saving? RDP, SSH, credentials?

Hello,
Thank you for your E-Mail. Do I need to install RDM on both computer? Is there another way to get access? Does RDM not work like a server, which is listening and is waiting for an access? I have a port forwarding on my router...
I have installed RDP on both computers

Marc
Hello,
RDM is an application who centralized different remoting technologies like RDP, SSH and TeamViewer as example. RDM doesn't act like a remote server.
Are you on the market for a software to centralize your remote connections or you are looking at a software like TeamViewer to remote control other computers?

Hi
Sorry, my answer did not get trough. Well, again....yes, I am looking for a Software like Team Viewer. I would like to read my E-Mails at home from my business computer. With TeamViewer that is no longer possible, because Team Viewer knows, that one computer is in a domain. Although I want to use the connection for private purpose only, but of course Team Viewer does not know that :)

Hello,
In that case, the software that I would recommend using is WaykNow. This will allow you to control your computer remotely.
