How to move connections to subconnections
Hi there,
I would like to move some connections as sub connections under existing entries. I can create new subconnections fine, but existing connections cannot be moved "over" an existing connection to be a sub connection.
Is there a way around this? I've in the past created several similar connections that now I realise should have been created as sub connections, but I don't want to be through the hassle of recreating them all over again.

Hello,
I don't know which version of RDM you are running, but could you try to right-click on the entry that you would like to move as a sub-connection and select Edit -> Parent.
Please note that if you are running an Advanced Data Source like SQL Server as example, you would need to be an administrator to have the authority to perform this action.

Hi Jean,
I used RDM enterprise 14.1.3.0 with MS SQL as the backend (migrating to mariadb soon) and I'm admin. I cannot see the parent option under edit>parent as you mentioned. I tried to browse other options but no luck finding something similar to parent. Not sure if I'm blind?
