quite a lot of websites work with 2FA now and offer to not ask again for a couple of day (see att. from digital ocean). can you make the sessions in RDM a bit more permanent, so that the cookie who is set when ticking the box in the screenshot is kept between RDM sessions?

Hello,
Do you use IE embedded or Chrome embedded?

Chrome embedded
I will double check with the team. I'm not sure if it's possible to do that with the third party component we use for embedded chrome.

ok, I don't want to seem too demanding, but if RDM wants to be the "all inclusive" solution then I think you need to find a way around these obstacles. We have more and more web based administration tools nowadays and find such limitations more and more often (see this other issue: https://forum.devolutions.net/messages.aspx?TopicID=30960)
Hello,
In that case, opening your web browser entries in external mode and use our web browser extension to autofill the credentials would be the ideal solution for you.
Our browser extensions can be found here https://devolutions.net/home/browserextensions

which breaks our deployment process. we don't want to be dependent on external plugins and browsers - that everything is in one package and a simple zip file brings our admins up and running is the main reason why we chose RDM
