RDP - Security Blur Connections

Out of curiousity is it posisble, or would it be possible to do a "security" blur for certain connection folders?

Here is an example - say I am working at a particular customer. when I am working with them it would be extremely convenient if I could security blur my other connections so they can't read who my other customers are.

This seems to be a common thing that is missing from a lot of different Remote Desktop Solutions.

Hello Jordan,

What data source you're using?

I guess the Vault feature is exactly what you're looking for ;) (for advanced data sources of course)

It's not exactly what you asked, but with this feature it is possible to split all your customers to seperate vaults - therefore no connection from other customer will be displayed :)

I'm currently using the Devolutions Cloud Storage for it.

Hmm So here is an example

CloudDevolutionsDataSource
MYLAB
ServerA
ServerB
MYCOMPANY
CUSTOMERS
CUSTOMERA
CUSTOMERB
CUSTOMERC
CUSTOMERD

In this break down I could put each of those customers in their own vault? But wouldn't people still see it when I select a vault? Trying to make sure I understand.

Hello,

sorry to say - then the vault feature isn't possible - it would be available with Devolutions Password Server, SQL Server, SQL Azure, MariaDB or MySQL data sources.

But to answer your question, yes the customer would see the name of the vault, but
a) you can name the vault as what you want and
b) if you're on customers side you must select only once the associated vault - so the customer would see only the datasource name and name from the selected vault.

Here a screenshot with the vault selection and an active vault:

Ah OK that's kind what I figured.

It would be nice if there was an option to right click a folder and say something like "Anonymize" to make a folder "hidden" This would be especially helpful to prevent - "oops" when you're on stage.

Hello,

I have moved your topic into the feature request section and advise our engineering department.

Hello,
I have added this thread to our feature list. I think that we could add a way to cloak a folder and his content.

That would be amazing! I have shared this thread with my internal team so we can keep an eye on it.
