Can't Edit (Add or Change) the TicketNumber field after the initial connection

Disabled

If the ticketNumber field is not set during the initial connection (using the OnOpenComment window), the system won't allow that field to be changed later.
The OnOpenComment field will change but not the Ticket# field.

Could this be something related to db/app rights?

Thanks !!

Hello,

What version of RDM are you running?

What type of data source are you using?

On which type of entry the open comments feature is enabled? RDP?

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

Good morning, Jeff, and thanks for your response.!

Here we go:

* Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise Edition.
Version 14.1.3.0 64-bit
.NET Runtime: v4.0.30319
.Net Version: Version 4.7.2 or better (image is attached)

* Data source: SQL Azure

* Second image shows the sequence I follow:
- Right-click and use option 'Edit On Open Comment'
- Set Ticket# and Comment fields. Then OK.
- Refresh: only the On Open Comment field is set.

* Test performed using the RDP entry.

* Option (On Open Comment) is enabled for, at least, these Connection Types:
- AnyDesk (same results, Comment field OK but Ticket # field is not updated)
- Username/Password (same results)
- VPN - Microsoft VPN (same results)
- VNC (same results)
- RDP

Hello,

The issue is resolved and the fix is available in the latest RDM beta version 2019.1.14.
You can download it here : https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/download#Beta

If you want to try that version, please note that this version requires a database upgrade. Please see the following online help page for more information about it.
