IP has been blocked by FTP server. message

We get the ’Connection was closed gracefully’ message in the FTP client when our customers IP address is blocked by the FTP server.
Can this generic message be change to something like “IP has been blocked by FTP server. Connection closed” instead?
This makes it easier to troubleshoot why a connection is closed.

I will check if this is possible to do with the developer. I'm not sure if we can distinct the blocked ftp error from the other one.

Hi,
I will check what I can do. After a quick research, I think that the IP blocking behaviour is server dependent. So it could help me to know which server your are using and how the IP is blocked. Some servers do not support IP blocking and must rely on external tools to do it.

I have made a change, it at least works with Filezilla and has good chances to work with many other servers. The change will be available in the next release.
