I'm looking for a Setting: - how can I stop RDPM from focussing new tabs when I open a new session?
Situation:
I'm working on a Server via RDP-Session embeded in my RDPM Window as a tab. Now I want to open an aditional session and work on it as soon as I'm done with the first session. Since connecting takes a while I open the new session and keep working in the first. But as soon as RDPM is done loading the new session it will switch tabs and focus the new session. This is especially annoying when I open multipil sessions at once.
I've already deaktivated Auto focus tab on item select and Auto select item on tab focus from this article, but that is not what I'm looking for:

I've searched throug the settings menue but I've not found anything regarding this, have I missed it?
I've searched the Forum and Google and haven't found any solution.
Hello,
Could you please go under File -> Options -> Advanced and check "Use Manual activate tab" and see if this issue persist?

Sadly it didn't change. I restartetd RDPM after changing the setting. I can see that my problem ist rather strange, so I would understand if there is no option for this.
The main benefit would be when RDPM wouldn't focus every single session one after the other when you open multiple sessions at once.
Hello,
There is no option for that. If I remember correctly, you can hold CTRL while opening the connection avoid the focus. This is undocumented feature but I'm not sure if it still available.
