We want to document the versions of devices and servers. It would be helpful to have a field to store the version.
Maybe you can implement a version field in RDM (in the information menu, on the general tab) ?

Would be nice if we can (advanced) search based on this version field and can add this field as a column.
For example, to search, filter for servers or devices with an older or specific software/firmware version.

We added :
-The field Manufacturer and Model information in the tab: Information->Hardware.
-The field "Version" in the tab: Information->General.
-The possibility to add the version field as a column.
-The possibility to do an advanced search using the version field.

It will be available in the next release of RDM.

Besides, we've noticed the informational field 'host' isn't available in mobile app yet.

To the RDM folks, why not just add a new tab with something like 10-15 custom fields. Custom01, Custom02, Custom03, etc. Let users rename them and then people can add whatever fields they want.
