security groups not available in a fresh installation
i've installed a fresh RDM on a server with an sql DB, and i can't find the "security groups" anywhere.
i must be missing something

Hello,
this is because the new (and recommended) security system (Role Based Security System) is enabled by default.
If you still want to use Security Groups you have to enable the Use legacy security option in Administration => Data Source Settings => Security
